Wires coming from the decoiler are guided between the braking plates without entangling, with the assistance of a separator. To prevent damage to the conductor insulation, polished chrome components with precisely machined edges are utilized on the surfaces of the tensioning plates. The desired tension force can be adjusted precisely via a potentiometer on the wire tensioning control panel.

The wires are fed into the wire braking unit, and their tension is brought to the target winding tension by adjusting the wire braking plates. The alignment and angular positions of the wires entering the winding process are also configured by the system. With the aid of the pneumatic system, the winding wires passing through the moving plates are clamped to achieve precise tension adjustment. While the vertical movement of the wire braking system is controlled by an electric motor and a rack-and-pinion gear system, forward and backward movement capability is also available.

Safety switches allow the wire braking system to be stopped at the desired position and reactivated. Additionally, the clamping process is executed under 6 bar pressure using a bellow-type pneumatic system, accommodating the attachment of reels in preferred dimensions. Vertical and horizontal clamping rollers provide operational flexibility, while the geared motor enables the movement of the system along both vertical and horizontal axes. These features ensure that wire winding operations are performed safely and effectively.
